Olatunde Temitayo popularly known as O.Tayo is a 23 year old graduand of Osun State University where he pursued B.A English and International Studies. He was certified in 2018 by United Nations Public Administration Network in Switzerland for completing a distant learning course on Citizen Engagement and Preventing Corruption. Temitayo received a badge from Commowealth100 Open Leadership Course in 2018. He got certified by World Health Organization for successfully completing a course on Health Financing for Universal Health Coverage. He was appointed as 2018 Ambassador of Spanish Language by The Cesar Egido Serrano Foundation in Spain. He is a Yali Alumni, West Africa; a United States Initiative. The young CEO bagged a certificate of participation in UNESCO-AU media literacy course. He is a member of CIVICUS; an international non-governmental organization in Johannesburg; South Africa. He is a member of Association of Nigerian Authors where he served as the Vice President of UNIOSUN branch and also the past president of the association. He was appointed as 2018 Ambassador of Spanish Language by The Cesar Egido Serrano Foundation in Spain. He is a member of Association of Nigerian Authors where he served as the Vice President of UNIOSUN branch and also the current president of the association branch in UNIOSUN. This young leader became the Auditor for the Association of Nigerian Authors, Osun State Chapter in 2017 where he serves as the state representative. He was a delegate to Prof Gbemisola Adeoti Inter-University Poetry Competition Event and also an ANA Osun State delegate to host Senator Shehu Sani in 2017. He is a creative writer whose publications have earned both national and international publications. Some of his poems were published in Scarlet Review Literary Journal in Canada, Rave Cage Zine in Europe and Heartbeat Magazine among others. One of his poems was presented in California by Jeannette Skirvin (Bookvana Award Winner). This early career journalist started working as a reporter for Heartbeat Press and now the Deputy editor-in-chief of the press. He represented his department at the campus house of assembly where he served as a honourable for one term. He was a member, constitution drafting committee for FAHSA. He launched his blog; Olofofo Uniosun in early 2017 which is now the number one student blog with over 20,000 fans. Through his blog, he received an appointment from a non-governmental organization; Green House Resource Center where he serves as a Researcher and Head, Public Relations Department of the NGO. He was the chief organizer of African Poetry Contest organized by Afritalks Brand with Ghanian, Kenyan and Nigerian as judges. He is also the current Vice President of Federation of Ijesha Student’s Union, UNIOSUN, Ikire Campus Branch.
Olatunde Temitayo who is the CEO of Olofofo Uniosun Media Agency also runs an international literary blog; New Media blog with submissions from blacks and whites. He is the CEO of New Media Tech; a company that deals with web design, hosting and monetization. He was the General Secretary of Youth Vanguard Forum; an ideological group. Olatunde is an award winning writer and blogger. He was nominated for Six and five award categories in 2015 at the department and faculty level of the institution respectively. Also, he was nominated for 8 award categories at the department level of the institution in 2017. Olatunde Temitayo bagged the award of writer of the year in 2016 from the National Association of Students of English and Literary Studies (NASELS), UNIOSUN Chapter and also the award of Best Writer of the Year by the Faculty of Humanities and Culture, Uniosun chapter. The CEO received the award of Congress Man of the Year in 2017 from NASELS, UNIOSUN. His blog; Olofofo Uniosun received an award in the Nigerian Campus Media Outfit Category by Chambers of Letters in late 2017.
This humble scholar is the Head, Public Relations Department of Chambers of Letters based in Nigeria and also currently serving as the Public Relations Officer for Humans of Poetry Initiative in Africa. He has written articles and papers. His papers cum abstracts are part of international journal entries , some of them are: “Socio-Developmental Issues: A Post-colonial Investigation of Nigeria Beyond Yesterday” , “Religionalization and Politicization: An Assessment of the Implications on Developmental Status Of Nigeria in the 21st Century” among others.
