UNIOSUN Ikire Campus holds colloquium for students

The management of Osun State University, Faculty of Humanities and Culture ,Ikire Campus held a colloquium.

The colloquium took place in the ETF Building of the College on 18th March, 2021 and had in attendance Mr Afowowe, Dr Adeyemi Aderogba, students and other teaching and non teaching staffs in attendance.

The colloquium was basically to Sensitze students about the Corona virus and educate students on the need to take the Covid_19 vaccine drug called Ivermectin which is provided free by the University Management.

Dr Ibrahim, an health expert enlightened staff and students on the need to take the drug to boost the immune system and prevent the virus.

Also, Mr Afowowe advised students to follow instructions regarding enforcing safety to prevent the spread of the virus.

He said “There are Sanctions for both Students and Staff who violate the existing Covid-19 protocol. Certain fees for some offences, and even suspension in some instances “.

The Supervisor of the school security team, however urged students to be security conscious, aware of their environment and be careful, most especially when they are off campus , to avoid being victims of robbery, kidnapping and other criminal activities.

The HOD of Linguistics and Communication, Dr Adeyemi Aderogba talked about tests and examinations.
He informed the students that test holds next week and examination starts soon.
