President-elect Ajao releases first official speech, thanks voters

Ajao Ayomide, the president-elect of Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Ikire Campus has made his first speech since his emergence as the winner of the faculty presidential election.

In an appreciation note made available to one of Olofofo Uniosun correspondents, he appreciated all Fahsasites for voting him as the next president.

He said, “Its with profound joy from deep down my heart that I give the ultimate thanks to God Almighty, for not letting me down all the way.
Special and more thanks to each and every member of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities Students’ Association, from LINCSSA, SHSN, NASELS, AFRISS, PHILOSOPHY, TOURISM, THEATRE ARTS, YORUBA and ISLAMIC, thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve and serve again.”

Ajao however recognized his opponent, Oladipupo Usman. According to him, the fight was really worth it which shows he is a leader indeed. He thanked Usman for giving him the push.

“I must sincerely appreciate all senior Comrades and Stakeholders that stood by me, from across all departments, most especially SHSN and LINCSSA, Comr. Cicero,Comr. Damilare, Comr. Prestige amongst many others that helped in the course of the election. I’m pledging allegiance and assuring you all that we’ll make a good administration together with your supports and God’s help. Thanks you so much.” Ajao added.

Recall that the presidential election was held yesterday, 18th February, 2021. Ajao polled 471 while Usman polled 418.
