The Federation of Ibadan Student’s Union (FIBSU) has officially commenced their activities in Osun State University.
According to a statement released by the association, the UNIOSUN chapter is an indigenous association which embodies the spirit of Ibadan student’s socio-political, economic and academic welfare.
The statement reads in part, ‘The association will encourage smooth academic pursuit and well-being of collective members, it will develop and mount for socio-culrural heritage of our father’s land.
“It will bring unity and oneness among members of the union and also maintain relationship among FIBSU local and national chapters.”
The General President of the Association, Aare Olasunkanmi Yusuff confirmed to Olofofo Uniosun the names of the association staff advisers which are Dr. Dare Joseph and Dr Olayinka Ajao.
He added that members have the opportunity of enjoying bursary and scholarship when available and the association shall oversee and look after the stay of their members on campus.
