Olaniyan Yemi; a final year student of Osun State University, Okuku campus is no where to be found. A trending WhatsApp broadcast states the details of the tragedy.
March 6 2018 makes it exactly a week that Yemi, a Final Year Student of Accounting at Osun State University, Okuku Campus was declared missing. According to the news which circulated online, he went to submit some documents at ICAN office Lagos,it was already late in the night, so he decided to stay overnight in Lagos, and then travel back to school the next morning. He went to Ojodu Police Station, and explained to the Policemen on duty, that he wanted to sleep over at the Police Station, so that very early in the morning, he could travel back to his school (Uniosun, Okuku Campus), where he came from. The said police men attended to him and requested for his name, his ID card and some other documents to make him identifiable, which he presented.
He afterwards called one of his colleagues in school, to inform him that he would be staying overnight at the Police Station at Ojodu.
That was the last time anyone heard from Olaniyan Yemi.
On getting to the Police Station at Ojodu Berger, the Police men denied having seen anyone, purported to have slept there.
At the time of writing this news, our informant told us that the school has weighed into it and the DSS of Osun State is also involved in the search of Yemi.
Our prayer is that God brings Yemi back to us.
